Silje Lindrup lives and works in Denmark. Surrounded by artists, she began as a teenager to blow glass in those around her. Graduated from the National School of Glass in Pukeberg and the Konstfack School in Stockholm, Sweden. With glass as a primary material, the artist Silje Lindrup creates objects on the border between art and craftsmanship. Interested in living processes where the body, the technique and the material together decide the result, she strives to push the limits of traditional glassmaking. Energy, movement and chance are key words in Silje Lindrup's practice.
